Abstrak
The life-course based healthcare service approach is an important strategy in the development of public health in Indonesia. Integrated Health Posts (Pos Pelayanan Terpadu/Posyandu), as community-based primary healthcare services, have been strengthened through the development of the Five-Table (Meja 5) system into the Five Table Plus (Meja 5 Plus), with the addition of nutrition services, education on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat/PHBS), and reproductive health counseling. This article aims to examine the implementation of Meja 5 Plus across all target groups in the life cycle, namely newborns and toddlers, adolescents, pregnant and postpartum women, couples of reproductive age, and older adults. The writing method employs a literature review of reliable sources from the last ten years, including regulations of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, national reports, and scientific articles. The results of the review indicate that Meja 5 Plus is able to expand the function of Posyandu as an integrated center for promotive and preventive services. The integration of nutrition services, PHBS education, and reproductive health counseling has been shown to improve knowledge, healthy living behaviors, and quality of life among communities across age groups.
