The Effect of Educational Picture Guessing Games With Audiovisuals on the Growth and Development of Early Chilhood at KB Siti Sawiah Baitussalam in Pekanbaru City

Early childhood development is greatly influenced by the stimulation provided, one of which is through educational games. This study aims to determine the effect of audiovisual-based picture guessing media on improving the growth and development of early childhood. This study is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design using a onegroup pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 48 children selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was performed using the Shapiro-Wilk normality test and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed a significant increase in child growth and development after the intervention, with a Z value of - 3.879 and p = 0.000 (<0.05). Descriptively, the average growth and development score increased from the doubtful category to developing according to age. It was concluded that audiovisual-based picture guessing game media is effective in improving aspects of early childhood growth and development, especially in terms of language, cognitive, and social-emotional.
