Abstrak
Religiosity is evidence of a person's level of depth and commitment to the beliefs, values and teachings of the religion he adheres to, including one form of action that is not taking risky actions, namely smoking. Smoking is a behavior that is dangerous to health and can trigger various diseases. It was found that visitors to the 22 Ilir Community Health Center working area still paid little attention to the culture of healthy living, one of which was that smoking had become part of the residents' culture. Such as: smoking freely at home, in public places and the lack of knowledge of residents in the work area of Puskesmas 22 Ilir about the dangers of smoking to health. This research is quantitative research, using survey methods. This research was conducted from 9 to 30 October 2023 at Puskesmas 22 Ilir Palembang. The population is 165 visitors. Next, to determine the sample using purposive sampling. The research results found that there was a positive correlation between religiosity and smoking behavior with the regression equation Ŷ = 49.71 +0.11.
