The discomfort that is often experienced by pregnant women, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy, is nausea and vomiting (Emesis Gravidarum). Nausea and vomiting in pregnancy are common in women who are young pregnant. Up to 80% of all pregnant women experience nausea and vomiting during their pregnancy. changes in electrolyte balance, namely potassium, calcium and sodium, causing changes in body metabolism. Peppermint has a content that can overcome nausea and vomiting in pregnant women. This community service aims to provide an understanding and practice of giving peppermint aromatherapy so that pregnant women can do it independently at home to reduce nausea and vomiting in the first trimester. In the Bunga Karang Health Post area, there are still many mothers who experience nausea and vomiting in the first trimester. The purpose of this community service is to provide health education and counseling on the provision of peppermint aromatherapy which consists of 3 stages, namely preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of this community service activity showed that the majority of participants experienced a good increase in knowledge after being given education and education about the benefits of peppermint aromatherapy. Therefore, education is recommended as a form of health promotion, one of which is about providing peppermint aromatherapy in reducing complaints of nausea and vomiting in pregnant women in the first trimester and improving the quality of health services in the community.
