Keywords:
Productivity, Rig Workers, Human Resources, Infrastructure, Literature ReviewAbstract
This study aims to analyze factors related to the productivity of rig workers in the oil and gas drilling industry. The method used is a literature review with the PRISMA approach, utilizing databases such as PubMed, Semantic, Open Alex, and Google Scholar. A total of 20 articles published between 2020–2025 were reviewed. The results indicate that rig worker productivity is influenced by two main aspects: human resource readiness (including training, motivation, work discipline, leadership, and mental health) and the availability and quality of infrastructure and equipment. In conclusion, improving rig worker productivity requires an integrative strategy that enhances HR competencies, provides adequate infrastructure, and implements occupational health and safety programs.
