Suarnianti Suarnianti Ria Safitri Ratna Copyright (c) 2024 Suarnianti Suarnianti, Ria Safitri, Ratna https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-06-30 2024-06-30 13 1 1 8 10.36763/healthcare.v13i1.237 The Relationship between Breast Care and Early Breastfeeding Initiation and Breast Milk Production in Postpartum Mothers https://jurnal.payungnegeri.ac.id/index.php/healthcare/article/view/440
Breast care is an activity carried out consciously and regularly to maintain breast health during pregnancy with the aim of preparing for lactation at post partum time. The smoothness of breast milk and the comfort of breastfeeding depend on breast care. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breast care and early breastfeeding initiation with breast milk production in postpartum mothers at RSU Melati Perbaungan in 2023. This research is descriptive analytic by using the cross sectional method. The population in this study were all postpartum mothers at General Hospital Melati Perbaungan in 2023. The sampling technique used was total sampling technique. Primary data in this study were obtained by interview and questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained by knowing the number of postpartum mothers. The analysis technique used was univariate analysis and bivariate analysis using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the table of statistical analysis / test results with X2 test is 10.519b at df = 1, indicating there is a relationship between breast care and breast milk production where the PV value = 0.003. In the table of the results of statistical analysis / test with X2 test, which is 11.429b at df = 1, shows that there is a relationship between early breastfeeding initiation and breast milk production where the PV value = 0.002 is obtained. Thus breast care, early breast feeding initiation with breast milk production are interrelated, and must be owned by post partum mothers.

Keywords: Breast Care, Early Breastfeeding, Initiation, Breast Milk Expulsion.
Elpriska Priska Copyright (c) 2024 Elpriska Priska https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-06-30 2024-06-30 13 1 9 15 10.36763/healthcare.v13i1.440 The Relationship between Motivation and Self-Efficacy in Carrying Out Physical Exercise in Type II Diabetes Mellitus Patients https://jurnal.payungnegeri.ac.id/index.php/healthcare/article/view/366
Abstract

Background: Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease characterized by increased levels of glucose in the blood so that it requires proper management, one of which is physical exercise. The sampling technique used is Purpose sampling. The analysis used is univariate and bivariate with the results obtained that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and adherence to physical exercise in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus using the Pearson chi-square test. The results of this study found that among patients with diabetes mellitus, with an average age of 58.14 years, the majority were female, amounting to 59 people (72.8%), while the education level of the respondents was mostly high school graduates, amounting to 25 people (30, 9%). The majority of respondents work as IRT, which is 36 people (44.4%). As for the length of time suffering from diabetes mellitus, the respondents suffered for < 5 years, which amounted to 46 people (56.8%). Statistical test results obtained a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), so there is a significant relationship between self-efficacy on physical exercise in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This quality service is expected to reduce the maternal and child mortality rates that still occur today. Reporting patient safety incidents not only plays an important role in ensuring the quality of services but also serves as the main foundation in the organization's learning process and internal improvement within the hospital. The aim of this study is to understand the reporting dimension in the implementation of a patient safety culture in pre-postpartum and perinatology wards. This study combines a mixed-methods approach with a sequential explanatory design. The quantitative method uses the AHRQ (Agency for Health Research and Quality) questionnaire, while the qualitative method employs in-depth interviews. This study involved 52 nurses working in pre-postpartum and perinatology wards. The results showed a positive response of 17.3% in the reporting dimension of the patient safety culture. Based on the interviews, one of the issues hindering the implementation of the patient safety program is the lack of adequate reporting on patient safety incidents, the absence of a good reporting system, a high blaming culture, lack of management support, very slow or lengthy case reporting, and insufficient financial support. The final results of reporting, analysis, and evaluation are limited to internal analysis and evaluation within the hospital. Recommendations from this study include strengthening the safety culture through patient safety training for all staff and continuous monitoring and evaluation of each patient safety program conducted.
Wice Suci Erika Widia Lestari Nurhannifah Rizky T Riamin Maria Copyright (c) 2024 Wice Suci, Erika, Widia Lestari, Nurhanifah Riski T, Riamin Maria https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2024-07-01 2024-07-01 13 1 90 94 10.36763/healthcare.v13i1.458 Parenting Patterns with Smoking Behavior and Youth Teams in Tanggeran Village https://jurnal.payungnegeri.ac.id/index.php/healthcare/article/view/443
The percentage of teenagers aged ≥ 15 years who smoke in Central Java is ranked 10th with a percentage of 28.72 percent in 2023. A true experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design was conducted. 43 parents in the experimental group used the PUISI LITA website, while the control group used the KIA booklet (n=43). The Mann-Whitney test showed significant differences (p<0.05) in all three quality dimensions: usability (experimental: 55.33, control: 31.67), information (experimental: 54.19, control: 32.81), and interaction (experimental: 57.22, control: 29.78).
